Chocolate Chip Mug Cake
He is away for work for six weeks [ :( :( ] and that means it is the perfect time to pull out another single serving cake recipe [ :) :) ]. This time was chocolate chip cookie cake. In under 3 minutes and almost no clean up you can have a warm fresh cake. Definitely one of those times when it is nice to not have anyone to have to share with!
You don't need much to make this cake. Just an egg, brown sugar, flour, butter, and chocolate chips...oh, and of course a mug.
First you need a mug.
Crack one egg into the mug.
Add 3 Tbs of brown sugar.
Add 1/3 cup of flour.
Add 1 Tbs of softened butter.
Add 2-3 Tbs of chocolate chips/chocolate pieces.
Mix everything together.
Cook in the microwave on high for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes.
The cake is finished when it rises and the top begins to harden.
Enjoy with a scoop of ice cream (or if you are like her and don't have any ice cream a dollop of homemade whipped cream).
